May 23, 2020 - Podium Finish for Tyler Millwood in Thunderhill Debut

1Tyler locked himself into the main event by placing third in his qualifying group against 35 cars with a 12.694 second lap around the high banked oval. Tyler then started fifth in the 50-lap, $5,000 to win feature and drove up two positions to bring home a 3rd place finish in his Thunderhill debut.

May 7, 2020 - Seventh Place Finish in DirtonDirt Shootout
1On Thursday evening Tyler Millwood traveled to Senoia (GA) Raceway powering his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 Late Model entry for the DirtonDirt.com Shootout. With the top six qualifiers getting locked into the Dash, Millwood posted the third fastest time in his group. Coming in fourth in the Dash, Tyler locked into the fourth-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Dropping three spots in the 40-lap affair, Tyler Millwood notched a seventh place outing. May 2, 2020 - Tyler Millwood Attends Carolina Triple-Header, Scores Top 10 at Lancaster
1 Tyler Millwood Racing headed to the Carolina’s this weekend for a triple-header of racing; quarantine style.

Tyler opened up the triple-header Thursday night at the TriCounty Racetrack in Brasstown, North Carolina for the Schaeffer’s Oil Invitational. Among the 25 cars invited, Tyler qualified 11th with a 12.854 second lap. With a 5th place finish in one of two heat races, Tyler would roll off 15th in the 40-lap feature. After suffering a flat tire around the halfway point, Tyler was able to rebound and rally back through the field to finish in the 11th position.

1On Friday night, the Tyler Millwood Racing team headed south to the Lancaster Motor Speedway Caskey/Munn in Lancaster, South Carolina for the Lancaster Lidlifter. Tyler was 19th fastest out of 25 cars in qualifying with a 19.147 second lap around the big half-mile. Tyler then started and finished 5th in his heat race to roll off 19th in the 40 lapper. 1Tyler Millwood Racing then headed to Gaffney, South Carolina’s Cherokee Speedway on Saturday to round out the triple-header with the Palmetto Invitational. With a very hefty 36-car field, Tyler qualified 14th in his qualifying group with a 16.499 second lap. A 6th place finish in his heat race afterwards set him up to start in a B-Main in order to make the show. Tyler made it up to the 5th position in the B-Main but unfortunately did not transfer in to the 40-lap main event.

March 13, 2020 - Top 10 Finish in Ultimate Opener at North GA
1Friday night found Tyler Millwood in action at North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) for the Ultimate Southeast Series season-opener. Drawing 21 cars, Millwood secured his spot into the $4,000-to-win A-Main with the fourth fastest time in qualifying. Dropping three spots in the 40-lap feature, Tyler posted a seventh-place finish.

March 7, 2020 - WoO Doubleheader Brings Millwood to TN
1Tyler Millwood traveled to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) on Friday evening to kick off the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series doubleheader in the Volunteer State. In a field of 33 cars, Tyler registered the seventh fastest lap in his time trial group before grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 14th, Millwood was an early retiree from the 50-lap feature with four laps remaining.

The following night at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Tennessee Tipoff, Millwood came in eighth in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place third or better, Tyler fell short with a seventh-place outing.

February 29, 2020 - Early Exit in Xtreme DIRTcar Series Finale at Modoc
1On Saturday evening Tyler Millwood was one of 25 Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series entries on hand at Modoc Raceway (Modoc, South Carolina) for the series finale. Following the 11th fastest lap in his time trial group, Millwood edged his way into the $7,000-to-win A-Main with a 4th place finish in his heat. Starting in 11th, Tyler was one of ten cars that failed to complete all 40 circuits.

February 15, 2020 - Millwood Attends DIRTcar Nationals at VSP
1Monday afternoon saw Tyler Millwood visit Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) for the 49th annual DIRTcar Nationals. After suffering mechanical issues in his heat that forced him pitside on the first lap, Millwood recorded a 12th place outing in his B-Main.

On Tuesday evening, Tyler fell two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Coming in 2nd in his B-Main behind Donny Schatz, Millwood locked into the 24th-starting position for the $7,000-to-win A-Main. Gaining one spot in the 30-lap affair, Tyler Millwood recorded a 23rd place finish.

1For the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series sanctioned contest on Wednesday, Millwood recorded a 5th place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place 2nd or better, Tyler fell one spot short with a 3rd place finish.

The following night, Millwood came in tenth in his qualifying group before placing 6th in his heat race. Transferring into the B-Main, Tyler fell short of a transfer position into the main event with a 6th place finish.

On Friday night, Tyler posted an 8th place finish in his heat race, transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 3 into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Millwood came one spot short with a 4th place finish.

Wrapping up the 49th annual DIRTcar Nationals on Saturday, Millwood came in 6th in his heat race, giving him one final shot at the $10,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place 3rd or better, Tyler logged an 8th place outing.

February 9, 2020 - Millwood Begins 2020 Season at Screven
1Friday night saw Tyler Millwood kick off his 2020 season at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) for the two-day Winter Freeze X. In a field of 24 cars, Tyler followed up the eighth fastest lap in his time trial group with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Starting the opening night feature in 12th, Millwood slipped back to a 20th place outing after bringing out a caution on lap 17.

January 8, 2020 - Tyler Millwood Plans Ultimate Series Return in 2020
1Tyler Millwood is eagerly gearing up for a second run at the Ultimate Super Late Model Series title in 2020.

December 13, 2019 - Millwood Wraps up 2019 Slate, To Begin 2020 Season at All-Tech
Tyler Millwood competed in a total of 21 events over the 2019 season piloting his Millwood Plumbing/Hitson Construction No. 31 Super Late Model entry. Losing three of his scheduled dates to bad weather, Millwood tallied four Top-5 finishes and 12 Top-10 outings.

His 2020 season will kick off on February 9th at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Florida) as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series regulars invade the 1/2-mile oval.

October 12, 2019 - Millwood Attends Lucas Oil Dixie Shootout
1On Saturday night Tyler Millwood visited Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned Dixie Shootout. In a field of 39 cars, Millwood recorded a 9th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place in the Top 3, Tyler fell short with an 11th place outing.

Sunday’s Rome Showdown at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) fell victim to Mother Nature.

September 29, 2019 - 6th Place Finish in Billy Clanton Classic
1With Mother Nature shifting the event from Saturday to Sunday, Tyler Millwood was one of 33 Schaeffer’s Fall Nationals Series entries signed in at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) for the Billy Clanton Classic. Recording a runner-up finish in his heat behind Chris Madden, Millwood earned the 5th-starting position for the $10,025-to-win A-Main. Dropping one spot in the 60-lap affair, Tyler notched a 6th place finish.

September 14, 2019 - Millwood Visits VMS for Fastrak World Championship
1On Friday night Tyler Millwood traveled to Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Virginia) powering the Robert Skinner-owned No. 33x Crate Late Model entry for the 16th annual Fastrak World Championship. Drawing a stout field of 113 cars for two rounds of heat races, Millwood followed up a 9th place finish in his first heat with a runner-up finish in his second round. Transferring into the B-Main on Saturday night for another shot at the $50,000-to-win A-Main, Tyler fell four spots short with a 6th place finish.

July 21, 2019 - Millwood Debuts with Southern Nationals
1After Mother Nature wiped out Friday’s program at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia), Tyler Millwood followed the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals to Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) on Sunday afternoon for the $5,300-to-win A-Main. With 23 cars on hand for the fifth-round of the rain-soaked tour, Millwood recorded the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group before picking up a 10-lap heat race victory. Starting the feature in 9th, Tyler was an early retiree from the 53-lapper while being credited with a 17th place outing.

June 30, 2019 - Podium Finish at Rome Speedway
1Tyler Millwood traveled to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) on Saturday night competing in a field of 26 Super Late Models. Following the fifth fastest lap overall in time trials, Millwood broke a torque arm in the feature while running in 4th with ten laps remaining that ended his night immediately.

1The following night at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the Independence Day Celebration, Tyler locked his spot into the $3,000-to-win A-Main with the fifth fastest time in qualifying.
