September 6, 2020 - Pair of Top-10 finishes at Dixie and Rome
1Taking part in the Labor Day weekend doubleheader, Tyler Millwood made the short trip to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Ga.) on Saturday night for the $2,000 top prize. Drawing 21 Late Models, Millwood posted the seventh fastest lap in time trials, which positioned him seventh on the starting grid for the opening night feature. After fading outside the Top-10 early in the race, Tyler clawed his way back to finish sixth.

August 22, 2020 - Podium finish at I-75 Raceway
1Coming off a win with the series a week prior, Tyler Millwood returned with the Southern All Star Dirt Series on Saturday evening at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) for the third annual Dirt Slinger Classic. With qualifying times setting the grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Millwood timed in 10th fastest in his group, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main. Clawing forward two spots to finish second behind Jason Hiett, Tyler earned the 13th-starting position for the feature. After replacing a tire early in the 50-lapper, Millwood advanced through the field 10 spots to score a third place finish behind Donald McIntosh and David Webb with Jason Hiett and Jason Manley completing the Top-5 finishers. August 15, 2020 - Tyler Millwood wires SAS field at TST for richest career payday
1Tyler Millwood dominated Saturday’s 3rd Annual Governor’s Cup at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Ala., earning him his richest career payday.

The Georgia native streaked to a $10,000 triumph in his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 Rocket Chassis/ Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model. It was his second win of the season.

“Sometimes it’s just your night and you can’t do nothing wrong. The only we could’ve done better there was qualify on the pole," said Millwood. “We’ve had a good car ever since we got in these Rockets. We just needed to t do some fine-tuning. We finally found where it needed it to be.”

1In a stout field of 40 Southern All-Star Racing Series entries, Millwood timed in third fastest in his qualifying group before picking up a 10-lap heat race victory. Earning the pole position for the A-Main, Tyler led flag-to-flag in the 60-lapper to finish 1.383 seconds ahead of Dillon Tidmore, Todd Morrow, Jack Hale, and Donald McIntosh.

This Saturday, August 22, Millwood will follow the Southern All-Star Racing Series to I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn. The “Dirt Slinger Classic” at the 3/8-mile oval boasts a $5,000 top prize for Super Late Models.

August 8, 2020 - Millwood bags Top 10 finish at Dixie
1Tyler Millwood visited Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon piloting his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 Late Model for the $2,000 top prize. Following the eighth fastest lap in a field of 17 cars, Millwood gained one spot in the 30-lap feature to register a seventh place finish.

July 25, 2020 - Pair of Top 5 finishes at Tri-County and Crossville, finishes fifth in point standings
1Tuesday night saw Tyler Millwood return with the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals at Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, N.C.) for the $3,500-to-win A-Main. With the Top 5 qualifiers getting locked into the opening night feature, Millwood recorded the second fastest time in his group behind David Payne, which positioned him fourth on the starting grid for the feature. 1After a scheduled off day on Wednesday night, Tyler headed to Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tenn.) on Thursday competing in a field of 18 cars. Following the fifth fastest time in his group, Millwood marched forward four spots in the 35-lap feature to place fifth behind Brandon Overton, Chris Madden, Cory Hedgecock, and Donald McIntosh.

For the final round of the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals, Millwood headed to Tazewell Speedway (Tazewell, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon. Recording a third place finish in his heat, Tyler locked into the ninth-starting position for the finale. With $10,053 on the line, Millwood dropped four spots in the 53-lapper to record a 13th place outing.

Tyler finished fifth in the Schaeffer's Southern Nationals points battle.

July 19, 2020 - Sixth place finish in Southern Nationals stop at I-75 Raceway

Recording the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group, Tyler locked into the eighth-starting position for the $3,500-to-win A-Main. Clawing forward one spot in the 35-lap affair, Millwood recorded a seventh place finish.

For the fifth round of the tour on Thursday afternoon at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.), Tyler registered the second fastest time in his group behind Brandon Overton, earning him the third-starting position for the A-Main. After running in the Top 5 early, Millwood ran into suspensions issues that sent him pit side on lap 17.

The following night at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.), Millwood timed in sixth fastest in his group before placing second in his heat behind Donald McIntosh. Starting the feature in sixth, Tyler was an early retiree from the 53-lap affair on lap 20.

On Saturday evening at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.), Tyler logged a sixth place finish in his heat, locking him into the 21st-starting position for the $10,053-to-win A-Main. With more issues preventing him from finishing, Millwood retired early on the 13th lap.

1Stopping at Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Ga.) on Sunday for the eighth round of the miniseries, Millwood followed up the seventh fastest time in his group with a fourth place finish in the B-Main. Charging forward six spots in the 35-lap feature, Tyler Millwood reeled in an eighth place finish.

July 11, 2020 - Pair of Top 10 finishes to open Southern Nationals
1On Friday evening Tyler Millwood invaded Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) to kick off the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals. Drawing 35 cars, Millwood followed up the sixth fastest time in his group with an 8-lap heat race victory. July 6, 2020 - Tyler Millwood and Chris Madden Join Forces for Southern Nationals Run
1As he prepares for a run at an inaugural Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series championship, Tyler Millwood is excited to announce that he’ll be joined on the tour by teammate, Chris Madden.

July 4, 2020 - Millwood bags first win of the season at Dixie
1Tyler Millwood made the short trip to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Ga.) on Saturday night piloting his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 Late Model for the Fourth of July special. With 18 Late Models on hand, Millwood timed in second fastest overall behind Michael Page, which positioned him second on the starting grid for the A-Main. With Page setting the pace early, Millwood began closing in on the leader as he encountered lapped-traffic. Inheriting the top spot after the leader suffered mechanical issues, Tyler soared to his first win of the season over Dalton Polston, Jason Croft, Will Roland, and Justin Shipley. He earned a $3,000 payday for the triumph.

June 20, 2020 - World of Outlaws doubleheader brings Millwood to Bulls Gap
1Friday night found Tyler Millwood in action at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) piloting his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 Late Model entry for the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series doubleheader. Drawing 33 cars, Tyler followed up the 10th fastest time in his group with at third place finish in his heat. Losing six spots in the 50-lap feature, Millwood recorded an 18th place finish.

The following night for another $10,000-to-win A-Main, Millwood fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish, sending him into the B-Main. Coming in second behind Michael Brown, Tyler locked into the 18th-starting position for the finale. With $10,000 on the line, Millwood dropped five spots to place 23rd.

June 13, 2020 - Millwood attends Mountain Moonshine Classic at Smoky Mountain

May 30, 2020 - Top-5 Finish In First Tazewell Appearance for Tyler Millwood
1Tyler Millwood Racing made their first ever trip to the “Bad Fast Taz” Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, TN on Saturday night for the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals / Iron-Man Series co-sanctioned $10,000 to win Toyota Knoxville 50. (Michael Moats photo)

1Tyler’s first laps around the high banked oval were the fastest out of all 29 entires in qualifying with a 11.710 sec lap around the world’s fastest 1/3 mile. Tyler’s qualifying effort gave him the pole position for one of four 10-lap heat races. Tyler led all 10 laps in his heat but had to hold off a hard-charging Michael Chilton in the closing laps before taking the checkered flag.

After Tyler’s heat race win, all four heat race winners would then redraw for the first two rows of the main event. With Tyler drawing the 1, it gave him the pole starting position in the 50-lap, $10,000 to win main event. Racing door-to-door with a couple of the hottest drivers in the country, Tyler brought his Millwood Plumbing No. 31 across the finish line in the 5th position.

May 23, 2020 - Podium Finish for Tyler Millwood in Thunderhill Debut

May 2, 2020 - Tyler Millwood Attends Carolina Triple-Header, Scores Top 10 at Lancaster
1 Tyler Millwood Racing headed to the Carolina’s this weekend for a triple-header of racing; quarantine style.

Tyler opened up the triple-header Thursday night at the TriCounty Racetrack in Brasstown, North Carolina for the Schaeffer’s Oil Invitational. Among the 25 cars invited, Tyler qualified 11th with a 12.854 second lap. With a 5th place finish in one of two heat races, Tyler would roll off 15th in the 40-lap feature. After suffering a flat tire around the halfway point, Tyler was able to rebound and rally back through the field to finish in the 11th position.

1On Friday night, the Tyler Millwood Racing team headed south to the Lancaster Motor Speedway Caskey/Munn in Lancaster, South Carolina for the Lancaster Lidlifter. Tyler was 19th fastest out of 25 cars in qualifying with a 19.147 second lap around the big half-mile. Tyler then started and finished 5th in his heat race to roll off 19th in the 40 lapper. 1Tyler Millwood Racing then headed to Gaffney, South Carolina’s Cherokee Speedway on Saturday to round out the triple-header with the Palmetto Invitational. With a very hefty 36-car field, Tyler qualified 14th in his qualifying group with a 16.499 second lap. A 6th place finish in his heat race afterwards set him up to start in a B-Main in order to make the show. Tyler made it up to the 5th position in the B-Main but unfortunately did not transfer in to the 40-lap main event.

March 7, 2020 - WoO Doubleheader Brings Millwood to TN
1Tyler Millwood traveled to Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) on Friday evening to kick off the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series doubleheader in the Volunteer State. In a field of 33 cars, Tyler registered the seventh fastest lap in his time trial group before grabbing the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 14th, Millwood was an early retiree from the 50-lap feature with four laps remaining.

The following night at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Tennessee Tipoff, Millwood came in eighth in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place third or better, Tyler fell short with a seventh-place outing.

February 29, 2020 - Early Exit in Xtreme DIRTcar Series Finale at Modoc
1On Saturday evening Tyler Millwood was one of 25 Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series entries on hand at Modoc Raceway (Modoc, South Carolina) for the series finale. Following the 11th fastest lap in his time trial group, Millwood edged his way into the $7,000-to-win A-Main with a 4th place finish in his heat. Starting in 11th, Tyler was one of ten cars that failed to complete all 40 circuits.

February 15, 2020 - Millwood Attends DIRTcar Nationals at VSP
1Monday afternoon saw Tyler Millwood visit Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) for the 49th annual DIRTcar Nationals. After suffering mechanical issues in his heat that forced him pitside on the first lap, Millwood recorded a 12th place outing in his B-Main.

On Tuesday evening, Tyler fell two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 5th place finish. Coming in 2nd in his B-Main behind Donny Schatz, Millwood locked into the 24th-starting position for the $7,000-to-win A-Main. Gaining one spot in the 30-lap affair, Tyler Millwood recorded a 23rd place finish.

1For the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series sanctioned contest on Wednesday, Millwood recorded a 5th place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place 2nd or better, Tyler fell one spot short with a 3rd place finish.

The following night, Millwood came in tenth in his qualifying group before placing 6th in his heat race. Transferring into the B-Main, Tyler fell short of a transfer position into the main event with a 6th place finish.

On Friday night, Tyler posted an 8th place finish in his heat race, transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 3 into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Millwood came one spot short with a 4th place finish.

Wrapping up the 49th annual DIRTcar Nationals on Saturday, Millwood came in 6th in his heat race, giving him one final shot at the $10,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place 3rd or better, Tyler logged an 8th place outing.

February 9, 2020 - Millwood Begins 2020 Season at Screven
1Friday night saw Tyler Millwood kick off his 2020 season at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) for the two-day Winter Freeze X. In a field of 24 cars, Tyler followed up the eighth fastest lap in his time trial group with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Starting the opening night feature in 12th, Millwood slipped back to a 20th place outing after bringing out a caution on lap 17.

December 13, 2019 - Millwood Wraps up 2019 Slate, To Begin 2020 Season at All-Tech
Tyler Millwood competed in a total of 21 events over the 2019 season piloting his Millwood Plumbing/Hitson Construction No. 31 Super Late Model entry. Losing three of his scheduled dates to bad weather, Millwood tallied four Top-5 finishes and 12 Top-10 outings.

His 2020 season will kick off on February 9th at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Florida) as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series regulars invade the 1/2-mile oval.

October 12, 2019 - Millwood Attends Lucas Oil Dixie Shootout
1On Saturday night Tyler Millwood visited Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned Dixie Shootout. In a field of 39 cars, Millwood recorded a 9th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the $12,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place in the Top 3, Tyler fell short with an 11th place outing.
