July 28, 2018 - Top 10 Finish in Southern Nationals Debut at Rome Speedway
1On Tuesday evening Tyler Millwood returned with the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern National Series at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) for the $3,500 top prize. With 28 cars registered in for the seventh round of the tour, Millwood timed in sixth fastest in his qualifying group sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place in the Top 5, Tyler grabbed the 5th and final transfer spot. Starting the feature in 18th, Tyler Millwood passed two cars in the 35-lap affair logging a 16th place outing. 1Friday night saw Tyler rejoin the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the 10th stop of the tour. After laying down the second fastest time in his qualifying group behind Ivedent Lloyd Jr., Mother Nature rolled in and washed out the night's remaining events.

1The following night brought Millwood to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for the Ultimate Southeast Series sanctioned program. Earning the 10th-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Tyler dropped six spots in the 40-lapper to place 16th. (Kevin Prater photo)

July 22, 2018 - Top 10 Finish in Southern Nationals Debut at Rome Speedway
1Tyler Millwood made his debut with the Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Series on Sunday evening at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the sixth stop of the tour. Drawing 29 Super Late Models, Millwood timed in sixth fastest in his qualifying group sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the feature. Rolling off on the pole, Tyler landed a 2nd place finish behind Frank Ingram positioning him 14th on the starting grid for the $5,300-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-10, Tyler Millwood jumped up four spots in the 53-lapper to place 10th.

July 6, 2018 - Millwood Visits Cherokee Speedway for Grassy Smith Memorial
1Friday evening found Tyler Millwood in action at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned Grassy Smith Memorial. In a field of 30 cars, Millwood edged his way into the $12,000-to-win A-Main with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race. Rolling off 15th, Tyler brought out a caution on lap-11 that dropped him back to a 24th place outing.

Saturday's Mountain Moonshine Classic at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) was washed away by Mother Nature.
